Morocco | 2-Night Desert Experience Trip from Marrakech to Fez
This tour is for all the guests who are interested to start their stay in Marrakech and finish it in Fez or in the north of Morocco, by this tour they will discover the High Atlas and Medium Atlas crossing the desert area with an experience of Berber tent and camel ride.
Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorges
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorge – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga
After breakfast, you will start your discovery by the dunes of Erg Chebbi, passing throughout the palm of Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. You will have a stop for a brief tour, then continue on to Erfoud. Visit a geological fossil site (Amonite) and lunch on the road. Continuing on by a track that extends through the dunes of Erg Chebbi to the village of Khamlia (possibility of a tea break in Gnaoua with a local family) around 5pm you will ride camels to take you to the bivouac in the dunes, to contemplate before sunset. Dinner and night in a Berber tent and typical gastronomy around the evening fire, Tam Tam music with the nomads.
Day 3: Erg Chebbi Dunes – Rissani – Midelt – Fez:
As Nomads, they are the only persons who are able to be adapted to the difficulties of the desert. Wake up around 7am to enjoy the sunrise between the waves of a sea of sand. It is the serenity that has inspired writers and photographers, one of the famous is Paul Bowles, where even memory disappears.” Morocco ends here, surprisingly, the only place that you lose infinity beyond the horizon.
