In the two days you will visit Datong & The Yungang Grottoes (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and The
Hanging Temple.

The Yungang Grottoes, formerly the Wuzhoushan Grottoes, are ancient Chinese Buddhist temple grottoes near the city of Datong in the province of Shanxi. They are excellent examples of rock-cut architecture and one of the three most famous ancient Buddhist sculptural sites of China. The others are Longmen and Mogao.

The Hanging Temple is one of the main tourist attractions and historical sites in the Datong area. Built more than 1,500 years ago, this temple is notable not only for its location on a sheer precipice but also because it is the only existing temple with the combination of three Chinese traditional religions: Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism.

In the first day , we will come to your hotel in Beijing to pick you up .

Driving about 5 hours to get the Datong city in the Shanxi province .

You will have your lunch at the city restaurant , and then we will directly go to The Yungang Grottoes and help you to buy the entrance ticket.

After two or three hours visit , then we will back to Datong city and let you check in your hotel ( Book early by yourself Recommend Datong Weidu International Hotel )

The second day check out your hotel after breakfast , go ahead to The Hanging Temple.

Lunch maybe stop at the local restaurant if you needed .

After visited , we will drivng you back to Beijing city .
